Parametric design on optimal foodbank placement

Project: Food bank placement
This project explores the possibility on optimal placements of food banks within an area of low income citizens.
The picture below shows the interface of the UI made with Viktor. It presents the option to choose from municipalities, the neighbourhoods correlated to the municipalities, output data that shows the percentage residents that have a income under 40%, the average personal yearly income per resident and the total amount residents per selected neighbourhoods. Furthermore the capability to choose the desired amount of foodbanks.
Here you see the selection of the municipalities.
After this, you get the selection of all the neighbourhoods that correspond with the chosen municipalities.
Here the output data is shown and on the worldmap, you see which neighbourhoods are selected.
On the last two pictures, you see the placement of the food banks. It does this by giving all neighbourhoods a score. This score presents the total amount of people divided by the amount of people with a income under 40%. Based on the score, the code calculates the placement of the food bank.
As last, the four boxes are a parametric design concept that was made to understand Solidworks and using global variables.
